Thank you for visiting our website - sterilize-x.com (hereinafter – “Website”). It is very important that you would take your time to thoroughly read and understand these Terms of Service (hereinafter – “Terms”), as these Terms shall govern the entire relationship between you (hereinafter – “User”, “You” or “Customer”) and us, whenever You will be visiting the Website or making a purchase on the Website.

Please do not proceed with making any purchases on the Website if You have not thoroughly read and understood the provisions of these Terms, as whenever You’ll be buying anything from us these Terms shall be considered as a legally binding contract between You and us. We strongly recommend to not proceed with making any purchases on the Website if You have not thoroughly read and understood the provisions of these Terms or if You do not agree with the provisions of these Terms.

We also advise you to read our FAQ section, product descriptions, shipping policy and warranty policy, that are all available on the Website, prior making any purchases on the Website.

WHO WE ARE
1. Sterilize-X is a brand name used and operated by a business entity UAB Orbio World (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”), which is a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of Lithuania (company reg. No. 305049890) with a registered office address at K. Donelaičio g. 60, LT-44248 Kaunas.
  
  Whenever you will buy anything on the Website you will be entering into a contractual relationship with Us and this contractual relation shall be bound and determined by these Terms and applicable laws.
2. The Website is dedicated to selling consumer electronic device sold under the brand name Sterilize-X. If you have any questions, inquiries or complaints regarding the Website or Sterilize-X products You can always contact our customer support by filling an online contact form at: https://sterilize-x.com/contact
3. Please be noted that all of the goods purchased on the Website will be sent to You from one of our fulfilment centres located in China, thus our sender’s address that you will find on received shipments will not match our office address. If you would need to return a product bought from Us – please do not send it to our office address as we will not be able to accept it. All returns should be sent to our fulfilment centres located in Europe, US or China – for more detailed information about returns please see our Return Policy.
OUR PRODUCTS
1. Our Website is dedicated to selling a consumer electronic device, branded as Sterilize-X, which is a portable UV and ozone cleaning lamp (hereinafter: “Sterilize-X”). Sterilize-X is designed to be used for air cleaning in small to medium interior spaces (bathrooms, toilets, closets, etc.).
2. Sterilize-X has a built in ultraviolet (UVC) light lamp which spreads UVC rays and generates ozone, as the UVC light reacts with oxygen and forms ozone in such a way. Sterilize-X UVC rays and its generated ozone has the capacity to clean the accumulated filth in the surrounding air and on the immediate surfaces.
3. Please be noted that Sterilize-X most likely will not be effective of will have a significantly lesser effects if: (i) it is used in rooms and spaces that are bigger than 20 sq. meters; (ii) it is used in rooms and spaces that would be heavily furnished; (iii) it is placed and used not in accordance to usage recommendations that are specified in these terms, Website or user manual.
4. Please be noted that Sterilize-X cleans the room (and other places) by radiating UVC light at 360 degrees radius and it is extremely important that you would follow all safety precautions when using the device. The most important safety precautions are:
  1. No people and/or animals must not be in the same room when Sterilize-X is turned on and activated for disinfection. Please always make sure that no child, adult or animal could enter the room once the Sterilize-X lamp is activated.
  2. You should never ever look directly at the light that Sterilize-X lamp produce, even from a distance. Sterilize-X will produce light that is extremely bright and can cause permanent damage to the eyes if looked at Sterilize-X lamp directly when it is active.
  3. Always keep Sterilize-X away from the reach of children. Children should never be left unattended in the same room with Sterilize-X lamp. Make sure that Sterilize-X would never be in a reach for children.
  4. Once Sterilize-X is activated for disinfection please leave the room immediately but not later than within 30 seconds as Sterilize-X will start radiating UVC rays for 30 minutes after 30 seconds from the moment activation.
  5. Please do not enter the room which you are disinfecting for at least 30 minutes from the moment the Sterilize-X UVC lamp is activated.
5. How to use Sterilize-X:
  1. Use the micro USB cable that will be provided with Sterilize-X or use ordinary SV micro USB mobile phone charger to charge the device prior using it. When you connect Sterilize-X for charging, the indicator light on the device will be red and the indicator light will turn green when the device is fully charged.
  2. Once fully charged, place Sterilize-X lamp on the surface above ground level, such as table, kitchen stool or a night table, if you want to cleanse the room, or inside a cabinet or on a shelf if you want to cleanse closed spaces (i.e. inside of a fridge, kitchen/bathroom cabinet, etc.).
  3. Once Sterilize-X is placed, open the protective lid and press and hold the turn on button for 3 seconds, until the indicator light will start blinking with blue light.
  4. Once the blue indicator light starts blinking, the UVC lamp inside the Sterilize-X device will light up within 30 seconds after activation.
  5. Once Sterilize-X lamp is activated and UVC lamp lights up, the device will radiate UVC rays for 30 minutes. Please make sure that no person, child or animal is present in the room for the 30 minutes timeframe, when Sterilize-X UVC lamp is activated for disinfection. Sterilize-X lamp has motion detection sensor which will turn off the device immediately if it detects movement.
  6. After 30 minutes Sterilize-X will automatically shut down. At this point it will be safe to re-enter the room.
  7. Sterilize-X leaves no residue after the cleansing cycle, so you do not need to additionally clean the surfaces after using Sterilize-X.
  8. After finishing using Sterilize-X place it safely out of reach of children and charge it before using it for another room or space.
6. Sterilize-X device contains lithium battery (700 mAh), so it will require charging from time to time. The battery life of Sterilize-X will be dependable on the intensity of the use of the device. Sterilize-X comes with a micro USB charging cable, however you can also use most 5V chargers micro USB chargers that are commonly used for most mobile phones. Please be noted that the use of inappropriate charging cables or chargers other than 5V chargers, might result in a battery failure or decreased battery life and this will not be covered by your product warranty.
7. Sterilize-X are designed and manufactured to meet all EU requirements, applicable to electronic devices, and all devices are bearing “CE” marking confirming compliance with the applicable laws.
8. Please be noted that Sterilize-X is not a toy and is not designed or intended to be used by children. Please keep Sterilize-X out of reach from children at all times, even when the device is not activated or with completely discharged battery.
9. You can also purchase additional items and accessories, such as chargers, travel cases or extended warranties for your Sterilize-X device on the Website.
WHO DO WE SELL TO
1. Please be noted that Sterilize-X is not designed for industrial or commercial use, thus we sell our products for personal use only. If you are interested in purchasing large quantities of Sterilize-X for commercial use, please contact our team by filling an online contact form at https://sterilize-x.com/contact, as we do not sell Sterilize-X for commercial use via our online store.
2. We reserve the right to cancel your purchase and/or reject any payments that you make on the Website if we have reasonable ground to believe that:
  1. You are buying Sterilize-X for industrial or commercial use (including reselling or renting);
  2. You are younger than 13 years of age and making a purchase from United States of America, Canada and other countries;
  3. You are younger than 16 years of age and making a purchase from any country of European Union;
  4. You have not read and accepted these Terms.
3. By agreeing to these Terms and making a purchase on Our Website you confirm to Us, that:
  1. You are above the legal age applicable in your country for entering into any purchase agreements;
  2. Your provided contact, billing and shipping information is true, accurate and correct;
  3. You are paying for the products with the credit card that belong to you or the owner of the credit card has authorized you to use the card and such authorizations were issued in a form which is required in your place of residence;
  4. You are purchasing the products for personal use only.
DELIVERY AND RETURNS
1. Once you have placed your order on the Website and made the payment, we will process your order within 1-3 business days. After your order is processed you should receive the shipment within 5-12 Business Days if your delivery address is in US or EU; or within 8-15 Business Days if your delivery address is in other countries of the world.
2. All of our shipments that You will order on the Website will be sent to you directly from our fulfilment house in China. However, if You will want to return the purchased product You will have the right to return the purchased products to one of our fulfilment centres in US and/or Europe.
3. Please be noted that:
  1. the shipping terms may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays. We will be not responsible for delays if the shipment will be delayed due to the aforementioned reasons.
  2. once Your order has been processed we will not be able to accept any changes to Your order. If You have changed your mind regarding the purchase after your purchase is processed, you can return your goods and get a refund in accordance to our returns policy (https://sterilize-x.com/return);
  3. due to high demand product’s color and visual design may vary.
4. You have the right to withdraw from this contract and return the products purchased on Our Website for whatever reason within 30 days. This withdrawal period will expire after 30 days from the day on which You acquire, or a third party, other than the carrier, indicated by You acquires, physical possession of the purchased goods.
5. In case your purchase does not reach you within 30 calendar days, please report to our customer support. Please be noted, that in accordance to Article 18(2) of the Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, if You do not receive your purchase within 30 days, you must contact us and inform Us about acceptable additional period of time upon which we will deliver Your purchase. You shall be entitled to terminate the purchase only if We have failed to deliver your purchase within the additional time limit. Please be noted, that you cannot claim to not have received the purchased goods if the rules set out in this provision is not followed.
6. You have the right to withdraw from this contract and return the products purchased on Our Website for whatever reason within 30 days. This withdrawal period will expire after 30 days from the day on which You acquire, or a third party, other than the carrier, indicated by You acquires, physical possession of the purchased goods.
7. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must contact our support team by filling an online contact form at https://sterilize-x.com/contact. After you contact our support team, you will be provided with a return code and return address – please be noted that we will only accept returning goods that will be sent with the provided return code and delivered to the provided return address.
8. To meet the withdrawal deadline (30 days), it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the returning goods before the withdrawal period expires. We won’t accept returns if you fail to meet the withdrawal deadline (30 days from receiving the purchase).
9. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than within 14 days from the day on which we received the returning goods from you. We will make the refund by using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
10. Please be noted that we will only accept the returned Goods if it was not used, without any signs of physical damage and sent back to us in the original package. If we determine that the returned products were used but still in operable and re-sellable condition, we might still make a refund to you, but You will be liable for any diminished value of the Goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Thus, if we found that the returned product was used, we might deduct the diminished value from the refundable amount.
11. Please be noted that if You want to return the Goods bought on the Website You will have to cover the shipping costs which will not be compensated by Us.
12. All returned Goods should be sent to the address provided to you by Our customer support.
  
  Please be noted that we will only accept returned products and make refund for them if they will be returned to the address provided by Our customer support and will have the return merchandise authorisation code placed on the returning shipment. Please do not send any returning products to our office address as we won’t be able to accept them.

PRICING, PAYMENTS AND CHARGES
1. Sterilize-X prices displayed on the Website might be subject to change. We may offer from time to time various discounts or special prices if buying Sterilize-X in bundles. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue further sales of any products. We will not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of sale of products.
2. All prices displayed on the Website are inclusive of international shipping costs and taxes. However, please be noted that Consumers from different countries may see product prices which would be slightly different – the prices may be affected by the Value Added Tax (“VAT”) which would or would not be applicable depending on each case.
3. We will never include VAT in the purchase price and will not ask you to pay the VAT if:
  1. VAT is not applicable in the country which you indicated for shipping;
    
    and/or
  2. Your requested product will be shipped to You from our fulfilment centre outside of European Union.
4. Please be noted that in case defined in Clause 5.2. (b) above, your shipment may be subject to charges by your local authorities (customs). However you will never be double charged with VAT – we won’t ask you to pay VAT if your requested product will be sent from China.
5. In cases when VAT is applicable in your country and your requested product is located in our EU fulfilment centre, VAT shall be included in the product price displayed to you in the order form.
6. Please be noted that we will never apply any conversion rates or charges dependable to your chosen payment method. However, some banks may apply conversion rates for outgoing payments and international transfers – we are not responsible for any bank fees or conversion rates that your bank would apply for any payment made to Us. If you notice any differences between the product prices on Our Website or purchase receipt and Your bank account statement, please refer to your bank for detailed explanation of the additional charges.
7. We accept payments by credit/debit cards. We will not accept any checks, cash or other means of payment.

WARRANTY
1. All of Sterilize-X goods sold on the Website are provided with a standard 2 (two) years warranty which is included in the price displayed to you when making the order on the Website. You can also purchase an extended warranty for additional charge. Buying additional warranty will provide you the same benefits of a regular warranty but for more extended period.
2. The warranty will cover any defects presumed to have existed at the time of delivery and which become apparent within a period of the warranty term. If during the warranty period a defect would occur we will change your purchased product to a new product, if repair is impossible. Please be noted, that your product might be changed to a newer model, of not lesser value, of the same product, if the model that you have purchased would no longer be in production.
3. Please be noted that the warranty shall not apply if the defect could not be qualified as a factory defect, thus we will not change or repair your product for free if the defect was determined by external factors such as inappropriate use or physical damage.
4. All products for warranty should be sent to Our returns delivery address, provided to You by our customer support. Returns address may differ depending on your country, thus please do not send us anything back without priorly contacting our customer support.
DISCLAIMERS
1. STERILIZE-X ARE DESIGNED FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. WE DO NOT CLAIM THAT ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS WILL BE SUITABLE FOR INDUSTRIAL OR COMMERCIAL USE.
2. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT STERILIZE-X DEVICE WILL DESTROY OR INAFECT 99,9% PERCENT OF ALL BACTERIA, VIRUSES AND DISESE, AS THIS RESULT IS HIGLY DEPENDABLE ON VARIOUS FACTORS.
3. WE DO NOT CLAIM THAT STERILIZE-X CAN KILL ANY SPECIFIC VIRUS OR BACTERIA. SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH SHOWS THAT UVC LIGHT TECHNOLOGY USED IN STERILIZE-X IS VERY EFFECTIVE IN DAMAGING DNR AND RNR OF VARIOUS VIRUSES AND BACTERIAS, BUT WE DO NOT KNOW HOW THE UVC LIGHT WOULD AFFECT SPECIFIC VIRUSES (SUCH AS COVID-19, SARS, ETC.).
4. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE OR ANY OF ITS CONTENTS WILL BE ACCESIBLE AT ALL TIMES, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE.
5. We made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of all products sold on the Website. However We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate as well as that any display of any product on the Website will accurately reflect the actual properties of the product that You can purchase on the Website.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE, OUR SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE WEBSITE OR ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM US.

AS SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF DAMAGES, THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY APPLY TO YOU IN LESSEN EXTENT.
